10-12 months for a GAP rifle

Re: 10-12 months for a GAP rifle

I bought mine from the ready to ship section. They have them in there all the time so I just waited a couple weeks till they had one I liked and it was here in about a week. VERY nice rifle of course and shoots like a dream.

Re: 10-12 months for a GAP rifle

The only time any of my builds took a while was because of my special order color/patten stock and special contour/twist barrel. The stock manufacturer took 7 months and the barrel took much little less than that. , but I still had it in 8 months even though they told me 8-12 months with my 10 day wait here in Cali. It all depends on what you want. If it's GAP cammo, GAP #7 tube, basically the standard Crusader, I think you'll have one much quicker. There are usually Crusaders in the for sale section every 30 to 45 days. They do go quick.

The special stuff, that may be a different story, as with any other smith. It's usually the manufacturer of the parts. Please try to be patient, like everyone said, it's worth it.

My custom 1911/2011s took me a couple of years to have built. Was it worth it, heck ya!
