Hello,
I was wondering if anyone on here has a SLR ION 10.5 hand guard with 10.5 in barrel (I would assume that the actual length doesn't matter 11 to 11 etc)? I wanted to know if I was going to have enough room for my flash hider/break, and be able to mount my suppressor ( Saker 762 )?
Thanks in advance.

You'll want a rail about .8" shorter than your barrel... presuming you want to have your muzzle device start at the end of the rial.

SLR handguards give you a true rail measurement, that is the total length from end to end.

Your muzzle device goes on the threads of the barrel.

You can dry fit your upper with your muzzle device installed on your barrel, and measure the distance from the rail upper to the back end of your muzzle device... add whatever gap you are comfortable with to prevent interference.

(I really like SLR Ions.)

SLR also has a lot of rails that specifically give you that .7-.8” clearance. For example:
10.25 rail with an 11” barrel
10.7” rail with a 11.5” barrel

The threads on the end normally occupy about 0.625" of your barrel length. Do you have the barrel you're going to use? If so measure the actual barrel length if you know how, sometimes there is a little bit more than advertised. For example, it's not uncommon for a 14.5" barrel to be mesured at 14.7". If it's about 10.7", by the time you shim your brake to time it a 10" ION would be about all you could fit, and that'll be a tight squeeze. It'll look nice though.
