No protests....No call for registering or disarming the populace of those dreaded "hypodermic needles". Just a quiet apathy because the narrative/criteria for libtard outrage hasn't been met. Quite surprising given the liberalness of this city.

Would it be wrong for a local gun owners group to hold a press conference and say that "we, as responsible gun owners, are tired of all the drug overdoses in this city! Something must be done....for the children!"?

My hometown. I was born & raised in Columbus, now live just north a bit. My folks retired last year and got the hell out. My part of town where I grew up in the 1980's was the nice part. It's a cesspool of crime and poverty now. Two doors down from my folk's house was a drug den, always being raided by SWAT. Junkies pulling up, buying drugs, shooting up in their cars, then tossing the needles out the window before pulling away.

A coworker naively bought a starter house in North central C-bus and there are roving bands of teens going around the 'hood beating people in their own yards, then ransacking their houses. Last week they hit a guy in the head with a brick and a golf club, entered his house just to tear it up, and left him for dead. Some of these fucks are only 14 years old. Luckily my coworker is smart and she has herself a CCW, but she's always asking me how to handle shooting a kid that tries to attack her. The cops can't or won't (?) do anything about it.

There are definitely parts of the city now where I grew up and felt safe in, that I will no longer visit. Heck, even my employer's main office is in a horrible part of the city now too. When I interned there in the early 2000's, it was an open campus. When I came back here in 2014, it's got a border wall, cameras, gates and a guard shack now.

WTF happened to my city?

The jobs all went to Asia. The money that was left moved to the suburbs. The decent folks have to work 2-3 jobs to survive and that doesnt leave much time for the kids. The schools went to shit without tax base. The welfare state allowed unchecked breeding of certain segments of the population.

Drug empire and the cultural marxist push influencing SJWs comes from the same machine. They wont turn on each other.

The curses written in Deuteronomy 28 have just about plucked the eagles wings.

More plucking to come for sure.

I lived in a suburb of Columbus (Dublin) during 2000 and 2001 and it was interesting. There were a lot of drug related killings on the periphery of OSU and some were pretty gruesome.

Oh yeah, tOSU campus area is still terrible. Bunch of armed robberies there again over the past week. It's smack in the middle of the "woke"/SJW-infested liberal Short-North and the crime-ridden Linden area.

Opium the next substance used to test controlling people.

Same as crack back in the 80s...

You don’t like being on a downer, here’s crack, you don’t like being wired, here’s dope, you don’t like doing drugs, here’s electronics... control is easy when you have the right tools for the job

With the Opium wars behind them, the Chinese understand very well the type of destruction they are launching on us with fentanyl. Its intentional.

I live on the NW side of town, just inside the outerbelt. You must be talking about "little Somalia". Cleveland Ave is a cespool. Having never been to Somalia, I think they are representing it well.
