100 vs 200

There is more of an advantage to doping it out and having precise turret elevation adjustments or reticle holdovers than an in between or compromise zero.
With so many good ranging reticle designs available and exposed turrets it would be a shame not to utilize them as intended.
If it's a duplex reticle on a hunting rifle with capped turrets then there is some benifit IMO

I have set my 6.5 Creedmoor to zero right in the center of the bull at 100 M. then dial up from there for longer distances.
No guessing about 1.5 inches at 100. nor trying to figure that out when shooting longer ranges.
100 M zero is right there, adjust from that for me. YMMV Regards, FM

Zero for 100 yds. Then once you have a good working load at 100, confirm that it holds zero at several distances up to and including max effective range for bullet, making sure to stay above transonic range.
