Counter Sniper....seriously use the damn search function and stop being so damn lazy. This question is answered about twice daily and you didn't even put a proper question together, purpose for the scope, what kind of rifle it's going on or nothing....just damn.

If you can't answer his fuckin question civilly then don't say anything at all. Maybe you didn't see the sticky that says "DO NOT ATTACK NEW MEMBERS" so if YOU are disabled, maybe you should go back and read it again!

First things first, what is your budget? There are many options available but without knowing your budget, it's impossible to point you in the right direction.

You don't NEED to spend more but with anything in life, you get what you pay for. There are some good deals to be had in the Optics For Sale forum. In fact, I saw a couple NightForce NXS scopes for $1200-$1400. An SWFA Super Sniper can be had for $1200 or less and the Bushnell Elite Tactical and Vortex PST scopes can be had for less than $1000. All of those I've mentioned are within your price range and will suit your needs.

What is the target, what are the conditions?
With the info you have supplied so far, you would be fine with iron sights...the Palma guys do it all the time.

I would be looking for variable magnification, with top end in the 14-20X range. For your budget look at Vortex, Sightron, Leupold, SS, Bushnell Elite,and Valdada IOR.
If you can save a little more get a Nightforce and have a little extra piece of mind.
There really are so many good scopes out there it is hard to say one in particular. Spend some time looking at reviews and pick one that matches your needs the best. Good luck!
