Hey guys I’m looking for a range finder that works well out to 1000 yards on animals, not that I’m hunting that far out. I am looking to spend no more than $350. Open for some input!

I've often heard Frank and others say "Dollar per yard" for non reflective targets in real world conditions.
After owning a kilo 1000, Kilo 3000 and a 3500.com I could not agree more.
Take the MSRP and replace the $ with Yards and you'll find your answer.

So you’re saying to just spend $1000 and assume the one I got is good?

i have a sig (dont remember which model) and it works great but can give me distance much further at night, not that i can see anything at night.

in other words, whatever it says on the packaging would be best case scenario if the conditions are right.
sun is the enemy when range finding i've found.

Don't think you are gonna get there with that budget. I have a Vortex Razor HD 4000, and it says it ranges deer out to 2200. I'm sure that's under the most laboratory of conditions though. That being said I have ranged dirt piles and trees out to a mile. It sells for about $500. Reflective targets out to 4,000 yards, again I'm sure with plenty of caveats.

Not at all,
When you say you're "looking to spend no more then 350", understand the limitations on what your price range is at.

If you want suggestions for a 1000$ rangefinder that's something completely different then what you asked.

That’s a tough price point to make with that requirement OP

Closest is a leupy 2800 on sale
I’ve seen them for $359 and it will easily range an animal at 1000
I have a Leopold 2400R and it does 2000 yards easily and consistently, but it cost me $499 last year
