Rifle Scopes 1000yd to 1500yd scopes for target shooting

I had zero problems seeing my impacts at 1040 yards on steel hell could see the indents in the metal not just the paint splatter with my delta stryker
https://www.edgunwest.com/store/scopes/item/delta-stryker-hd-5-50x56-sfp/ I highly doubt at much further what i will be able to see or not I don't know have not had the chance yet . I want to try it at thunder valley out to a mile next I am taking it as I will not really see too much at that range with out a target cam or something like that at that range but again I don't really know yet . good luck with what ever you decide to get I hope it works exactly like you want it to .

Can anyone recommend a couple good scopes for shooting up to 1000yds targets?> And does one expect to see the target (bullseye or diamond) clearly?

Budget? So many of you never include a budget when you ask these questions...so I assume money is no object and you are a millionaire. Tangent Theta 5-25x56 or Hensoldt 3.5-26x56.

Oh and delete your “my shooting platform” in this sub-forum and add the info to your op here. Two threads about the exact same thing is redundant.

Not trying to pile on but a budget would help, if you haven’t already do a search these questions get asked daily and there’s a lot of good advice already out there. For me I’ve tried a lot of different scopes and I’ve settled on the NF 7x35, 35x is great for spotting for a buddy or trying to shoot bug-holes on paper. For a thousand yards 15 to 20x is plenty, that’s the mag range I’m at most of the time. Good luck

Cheapest that I like - Vortex Viper HST 6-24 Can be had for under $600
Medium $700-1500 - Couple of the Leupolds the new Strike Eagle for Vortex and the Golden Eagle (since its just target)
Higer $1500-$2500 - NX8, Razor's, ATACR
$2500 and up - Higher end ATACR are my preference.
There are tons of other good scopes these are just the ones I use and have.

Athlon Argos BTR 10-40X56 will do in the $400 range. I just got the Gen2 version of this scope and it's awesome for the price. Not as good of Glass as a Vortex Golden Eagle but I can spot what I need to see at 1000 yards and it's not $1400.

VooDoo

For under $1000 I'd look at the Meopta Optika6 5-30x56. I've been really pleased with mine.

Brownell MPO seems to be pretty well regarded right at $1000,, but I can't speak from experience on that one (yet).

MPO is awesome. Only downside is the elevation... 20 mils for the 25x & 40(I think) for the 18x... So if you need more than that look at something else. I think this is on par with the PST2 just for comparison sake
