1050 owners--I need some help

I have a 1050 I bought that came with tons of parts. Mainly scattered and not in proper boxes. Had no problem with the 9mm stuff because that is what was on the press when I got it.

My question is which shell plate holder is the 223 shell holder plate? I have two that sort of fit the 223 cases. One is labeled with a 3 on top and the other with a W on the top.

Also I am having issues with both plate holders and swaging the primer pockets. Either it is not doing it or is pushing the case up so tight that it binds in the shell holder. Getting a little agitated. LOL

Go to the Dillon website and download the pdf of the manual.
It has all of the caliber numbers for you.
.223 uses #3 shellplate and #3 locator pins.
Sounds like an adjustment problem on the swager.
Brian Enos's site has ALL of the gouge on Dillon machines.
An hour over there and all of your problems are solved.
