I was curious how far these stick out of the bottom of an AICS but I couldn't find any pictures. Does anyone have a pic and any reviews how these mags are holding up under use?

Sorry no pics, the alpha sticks out just slightly more than the 10rd AW mag and a lot less than a AICS 10rd. Mine runs great with 8rds or less but with 9 or 10rds the lips let the round tip up.

How's the function? I'm a little concerned since Essential had problems running them full as these will be for my match rifle. I like how they don't stick out as much as the AI mag but not if they aren't going to be reliable.

Sweet looking rifle!

No point me adding another pics of a green AICS... you get the drift.

I love the feel of the Alpha 10 shot mags in the AI Chasis. My feelings are that the shorter mag height makes for easier shooting and also the mag rattle around a lot less.

Latest version with the black delrin follower? I haven't had problems with mine. I did with the first couple "MORTA" mags with the white followers.

Love the mags but also have issues w them when loaded to max. Rounds end up nose down and do not feed properly, I always make a note to 2x check when loading them full, but other than that are gtg.

Yes mine does have the black follower, the problem seems to be that the spring has enough power that when fully load it spreads the front of the lips a little and the round likes to tip up. Its not as bad now that I have loaded them a bunch but I still only load about 8rds though. Overall I do like the mags.

Sobrbiker883, my fingers still have nightmares of picking your brass up at the Score High match damn that shit was hot!

I'm sure I missed it, but can someone direct me to a link or contact to get some of these?

I'm in need of some single stack 10rd'ers and before ordering the AI's I'd like to try out the more aptly priced version.

Sorry, I felt so badly for all you guys that I traded that rifle for a Bartlein barreled Surgeon 591 in 6XC.

PM Chris to see if there's a way you can verify that you have the right spring. Only issue I've had is that in some bottom metal they are a little snug with 10 rds, but become "drop free" after the first round is loaded into rifle.
