My Aunt had a stroke last January, and she's been in an assisted living facility ever since.
Her only child daughter is loving and visits her every free moment she has.
She even goes to great effort to bring her home for special events, such as Christmas.
She is truly devoted to her mother, but sometimes maybe a little too much.
Today, while my parents were visiting them, my Aunt kept raising her hand to her forehead. This was creating some concern for her caring daughter, and the daughter asked her a couple of times, "Momma, are you OK?"
After the third time, my Aunt was getting a bit tired of it apparently thought that her daughter was being a little bit doting.
She squared herself in her chair and fired back, "<span style="font-style: italic">Are you OK? Do you need anything? What's the matter?...... Every time she comes to see me she says 'What's Up?, What's Up?'.....
and I tell her <span style="font-weight: bold">EVERY DICK BETWEEN HERE AND THE END OF THE HALL</span>l</span>!"
