Any one have some insight on the performance differences of these two rounds?

Higher BC with the 123, what's not to like?
123 is like cheating on small targets, whether animate or inanimate, out to 500+.

Published BCs:: 120 A-Max = .465 123 A-Max = .510

I haven't found any 123 A-Maxes in stock in 4 months. 120 A-Max are relatively easy to find.
