123 amax

Re: 123 amax

I loaded 10 rounds for a ladder test at 200 yards -- from 41.9gr to 45.5gr in 0.4gr increments of H4350.

All 10 went into a 2.1" group at 200 yards.

I haven't taken the time to refine a load, but my gun seems to like them.

My 260 is a 26" Shilen. Played around with some Quickload figures and it should be a decent, flatter alternative to a 140gr with the benefits of lower recoil and lower cost compared to Berger and Scenar choices. I need to reload some rounds this week so I'll try out some more and report back.
