123gr Amax and the .260?

Anyone had any luck with the 123gr Amax in the .260?

I haven't done any extensive load development yet, but on my first attempts with H4350, they haven't grouped nearly as well as 130 and 140gr VLDs or 140gr Amaxes or BTHP Match bullets. Haven't played with seating depth yet, but that's probably where I'll head next. My initial attempts had them lightly kissing the lands.

ssatt and I have had great results with both the 123AMAX and the 123SMK and H4350.

We are running them in our JP LRP07s with between 44-45gr

They shoot lights out.

I haven't given up on them yet. I'll try seating depth and see how they do.

I'll be trying these out myself very soon. My barreled action is on the way back from LongRifles now, then I just have to massage my barrel channel for the new barrel. I hope they shoot, I've got 500 of them and only one rifle with a 6.5mm bore.
