14.5X114mm series Echo Sniper rifle

I'm not sire how to post links on this new layout.

What do you think about a 14.5X114mm rifle? I saw the ZPU and DSKH in Iraq and Afghanistan. Looks like fun!

My thought is I'd like a 14.5mm JDJ (or other 14.5mm based on the .50BMG) or in that size of rifle a 20mm.

I have never seen the 14.5 JDJ. I'll have to do a little googling.

We had a few 14.5 rifles back in the late 80s and early 90s. If I remember correctly, North Korean KPV ammo (stuff captured on Grenada) was actually fair.

It carries a huge payload (in man-packed rifle terms) but has some pretty wicked recoil and concussion when combined with a muzzle brake.

The PTRD-D and PTR-S were pretty good concept guns.
