Hello all, I have found a company that reloads 150g amax for close to .50 cents a round which sounds fantastic. But, I have never shot 150 grain through my 18 inch 1:10 twist semi auto. I have shot 178 grain and 168 grain perfectly fine but I know that usually 1:10 doesn’t like lighter grain bullets. Anyone have experience with 150g in a 1:10 and how they perform?

I shot 150 gr TTSX and Interbonds in a 1-10” twist 308. They didn’t shoot as accurate as the 175’s, but they were accurate enough for me to use to take down some big ol mulie bucks. Every rifle/barrel is different though, so one could shoot them in little itty bitty groups, and the next might look like a group from a scattergun. Get some and see how they perform.

Didn’t know hornady made a 150 grain amax. I’ve shot the 155 with success. I’ve also shot 150 fmjs that shot minute of barn door. But then again I personally wouldn’t buy someone else’s reloads.
