Will shooting lighter bullets in a 1-10 twist .308 barrel hurt it? I know these barrels are better suited for 168+ gr. I just bought 100 rounds of some clearance 150gr ammo and wanted to know.

Should shoot fine, but will need a different powder charge and have a different zero! I have found you don't save money wasting your time with different bullet weights, because you have to do more load testing, unless you want to pick a load and just deal with rezeroing your rifle. Good luck!
thanks! Yeah I bought it for plinking at 200 yards with my cousin. I usually shoot Hornady AMAX 168gn. It gets expensive though and we wanted to shoot a lot and just chill. The match ammo is for when I get serious lol!
