Some of us like them jammed where they shoot well, others here have reported that they can stand a jump.
I can jump them .015"ish and get good results.
I think that the key with 155 Skinnies is to get them up over 2900 fps and closer to 2950 fps, for best results.

Ive jumped them at 2850 fps with good success.
My experience with the 155s is that they are relatively forgiving if pushed fast enough.

I just got done last weekend with some load dev for my 19". I am pushing them at 2860 with a significant charge of Varget. It can be done but ready to stuff the case full of powder and work up carefully.
FYI, at 2860 I do not have any pressure signs, easy bolt lift, all is well. This is with a KMW, Kreiger 1-11" 19" barrel, 308 win match.

I have a 155 secenar benchrest load at 2.820 (jump = 0.143) that shoots as well as 0.188" 5-shot groups at just under 2650 fps.
I have a long range load that at 2.948 (jump = 0.015) that shoots as well as 0.325" 5-shot groups at 2950 fps.

I shoot mine kissing the lands... If i recal 2.335, and 2.96? (i think) OAL

mine jump just fine
i do not have a short barrel though
i would try the 175mk.. they shoot really well jumped and slow

How much case to bullet contact do you have with that? I tried 2.265 and the bullets practically fell out.

How long of a tube / tube specs? I'm also in Austin, and would like to know your load as I have not played with 155s. Feel free to PM me if you'd like.

Very accurate and feeds from a mag.

I've often found 20thou to show very good results.
Been gettin' 2560f/ps in a rem 700p @ 20" with a mild load of viht n140, but i'm getting .2's so I'm happy with the performance

I FL size my Lapua with a Forster FL sizer die. I could not pry one of these scenares out of the case with my hands if i tried. They are seated well. Not much of the bearing surface is seated, but the area that is aint coming it with a slight knock.

+2 I have found the Lapua Scenars very tolerant of jump. I too was jumping them 0.060. That was the only way I could get them up to 2940-50ish without pressure, and that speed seems to be were they really shine if you are gonna take them out to 1K yds.

I'm just starting to mess with the 155's in my m1a. I seat so they just clear the mag. Don't know the results yet. Fingers crossed.
