Unfortunately it would not work with Alpha Brass, the reamer was spec’d for lapua.

My friend runs alpha brass in proof prefits all day long, granted not a warm load, 105/109 at 2850 from 26" w/ varg. No issues. He also ran lapua brass his first 3 barrels and no issues. You might be just fine with alpha unless you're trying to step on it psi wise.

I wouldn’t advise it with this chamber.I believe it’s a .272 neck?

That's true, I believe alpha loaded od is probably 269, at least their bra and br is.
