Im looking for a tap and die in 16mm-1 left hand, I have checked Brownells , Midway,MSC, McMaster and google but cant seem to find anyone in the U.S.A that has them without costing me an arm and a leg. Any suggestions? thanks

Im sure some would argue that lol. The barrel is already threaded, I just wanted to clean up the threads with the die and I was going to try my hand at making a thread protecter with the tap.

thanks Mech, I did see that one on google and went to the Merlin web site (where that die ships from threw amazon) and they are UK. Dont really care to order form oversea but if I have to I guess I will. Thanks for the help tho

Yes I'm fully aware they make thread protecters in 16-1LH. I just wanted to give making one a try. Thanks for the link tho
