16" bolt load data please!

I currently did a budget build .308 based on a sps tac barreled action... I put a manners T4 stock and a vortex pst 2.5-10x44 mil/mil to top it off.. I decided that I wanted to run my TBAC 30-BA on this 16" cut and thread barrel...

My question: what loads are you guys running in your shorty builds and has anybody used hornady's superperformance powder to boost muzzle velocity due to your short barrel? I'd like to hit 2550 fps with the can on...

Savage 12 308 Win. - PacNor 16.25" barrel with 1 in 8 twist.
Lapua brass, CCI BR2 Primer, 46.0 Varget & 168 SMK. Runs 2600fps through the chronograph with dope out to 1000 yards.

Gun was built primarily for 220 SMK subsonic loads, but does pretty damn well with supersonic loads as well.

Nice. I appreciate the feedback.

I'll be running a 1:12 twist with this build.... I'll probably stick with 168's or maybe 155's just to make sure I don't have any bullets "key hole". Last thing I want is a baffle strike on my TBAC.

I loaded up some 168gr a-max's last night to test hopefully this weekend for my 16" gas gun .5gr increments except the last 4 loads approaching max is .3gr. trying two powders. IMR 8208xbr and pp 2000-mr. the load manual shows a 120ft/sec gain over the 8208xbr with less pressure(24" test barrel). hoping the results are equal or better and the accuracy is there(gas gun so no huge hopes. if it shoots sub MOA i'll be happy)
