He stopped breathing for several minutes after birth and everybody came rushing to help, it was horrible. That's the worst I've ever felt in my life and I began begging god to take me instead of him. He began breathing but is in the NICU for observation. They say he will be ok.

VERY happy but I got a feeling I'm going to grey out early if he keeps this up.

I'll be sharing some grey with you. My wife's 27 weeks and just text me from work saying she's having preterm labor symptoms. I sure hope not. At least she works in the ER.

I'm proud for you brother. Nothing comes close to the feeling of holding your new born child. Cherish it, and spend every minute you can with your wife and son. Also, I'm sure you are breathing a sigh of relief that you don't have to deal with a pregnant woman's hormones now, but, their hormones actually get crazier and take 4-6 months to settle back down, so keep that in mind for the next few months and help your wife out as much as you can. It will make the bond between all of you better. At month 7, make sure you get an apology from her for all the hormone torture you've endured! lol
