162 and 208 amax ?

162 amax is temporarily discontinued and the 208s are tough to find but do come up every now and then at most of the big name places that mentioned here often.
I know a guy that just picked the 208s from cabellas online just last week. Pricey with shipping but he wanted them.

Yeah...been griping a lot here lately about the 162's...
At darn near half the cost of the Bergers. Snatched up the last three boxes of 162's on the shelf at the LGS a few weeks ago, couldn't believe they were still there.

I use 208 a-maxs and didn't realize there was a shortage on all the reloading stuff because I had been kinda of stocked up on everything. We'll about two months ago I was getting short and decided I would get online and order some real quick. We'll after looking on every site I knew and spending several hours searching online I decided I was just going to back order some but then I found most of the sites I usually shop on were not even doing that.
So next day I decided I'd call local stores I called a couple and they didn't have any but then found one that did and later the next week I went into another and they did too. Also, the stores had most of the powders that are sold out online so I stocked up.
Don't know where you live but I would suggest doing that. Call the local stores, not big name places, just local gun shops that carry that kind of stuff. If by some chance you live in west texas the store I found it at was field and stream in San Angelo. That store may by some chance ship to you if you call them, I have no idea if they do that (probably not but guess it would be worth a shot if your desperate).

Yea been to the most common sites and last night I thought i had gotten lucky, and ordered 10 boxes from a site only to get an email a while ago saying they were out. I have been as far as McAllen, Laredo, and San Antonio with no luck. This sucks!!!!!!!!!

Check your local stores. There were 4 boxes sitting on the shelves at my local Sportsman's Warehouse last weekend.
I put in an order with Sinclair a few months back when things were REAL lean. 2 weeks ago my back order of 500 (208 A-Max) showed up. They may have more....At 1/2 the price of the HyBreds it may be worth just putting in an order where ever and play with the more $ Burgers until they show up. The 230 HyBred shoot well (in my 300RUM) at 2950+ in front of 89.5g of Retumbo...Best of luck with the quest for the 208's.........
