Like an idiot I worked up a load for my 280 ai with an older box of 162 eldm. Then bought 3 new boxes, and they are .010" longer to the ogive. Anyone else make this transition and see any issue running the same load length? I will do a length test to verify accuracy, just being lazy and looking for ideas.

That kind of variance is normal. Use the same powder charge and load the same coal, plus/minus .005” and you’ll be back in it. Cost is 9 rounds tops.
New bullet seems stable .016" out from old bullet location. Will test more to check if new bc is as advertised. Last bullets were running at .293 instead of .313.
