17 HMR Vudoo and one busy weekend!

Hornady V-Max and I've not chrono'd it.

@Pondskipper What 17 HMR ammo are you using? Done any ammo testing?

Tested for ES first between several brands, found two that were fairly low and close tested both at distance and Hornady won over all, All ammo tested came out much faster than advertised which was nice and the Hornady averaged 2663fps from mine.

What was the other ammo besides Hornady that tested well?

How about some groups.
I would love to see what the 17hmr is truly capable of with a Vudoo. Yes the ammo is the limiting factor and I bet a vudoo can show how good it can be with the ammo available

I’m shooting the 20gr Hornady as it seems to do best at all ranges tested. I tried the A17 but the es was well over 100fps and accuracy followed as well. As for group size, if I sort the 20gr Hornady it will maintain 1” groups at 300, it should be noted though that I didn’t sort at all for the 600 or 1040 yard shots.
