175 SMK pulls, what barrel does it work in?

I've seen various reports of the accuracy of 175 SMK pulls from M118LR. I'm thinking the type of barrel has a great effect on how well they may work.

I'm asking people who have the same accuracy with pulls as new rounds: What barrel are you shooting them out of?

Brand? Cut or button rifled? 4 groove, 6 groove, 5R?

It really matters very little. You could probably take a set of dice and write each of the options on a face and roll it. Whatever the combination comes up you'll end up with something that will hammer those things.

Rock 5r 11.27 25" @2750fps shows no discernable difference between the pulls and factory fresh.

I recommend a .30 caliber barrel.

My understanding is they were specifically loaded for the m24, which had an 11.25 twist and 24-27" barrel. So anything similar to that should drive tacks. I have shot about 100 rounds of 118lr through my savage 24" 10 twist barrels. If i could acquire it at bulk rate i probably would never reload 175smk bullets again. That shit shoots lights out.

Strenuous and extensive field testing in a variety of environmental conditions shows preliminary signs that fdkay's recommendations may indicate a statistically significant effect upon post-firing projectile performance and lacuna-creation abilities upon orthogonal cellulose surfaces.
