18” barrel 6cm versus 6.5cm

Does one work better than the other is shorter barrels?

Wouldn’t think it would be any different between the two. Been wanting to cut my 6.5 back to 16.5-18” , then have another 24” for the “regular” stuff. Velocity reduction being similar, up to the projectile to make any difference, it would seem…

6CM 105g Hornady Black in an 18” goes 2800fps for me.

I’d bet the same load is around 2600fps in a 18” 6.5CM with 140s.

Run the dope and see what’s better.
