I would Imagine it would have a little more significant impact on velocity than a 308 with the same length barrel.
The 6x47 is meant to run High BC bullets realy fast.
I would expect a 20 inch barrel to run them 2850, max.
I have a 22 inch 6xc that won't run a 115dtac but about 2890.
My advice is worth what you pay for it,

Thats not to bad kind of thinking 20" and running 105 A-Maxes and I might get 3k a lighter 90 gr Pill might give me 3100.
I think 18" will be too short 20" will be pretty handy and I could live with the velocity loss maybe........

I wouldn't go any less than 22"....
22 inches of barrel is still pretty handy, I realy don't mind carrying around another few inches for more velocity.
