Having problems finding my 168gr bullets I normally load. My wife was at cabelas today and found some 180gr nosler ballistic hunting. I had her buy 100 for me to possibly try in my rifle. I've talked with a few people that claim they will stabilize but when I apply the greenhill formula by math it says it won't. Just wanted to get some feedback from more folks if they've tried them and either had luck or didn't. Thx in advance!!!

You just have to load up 10 and see what you see.

I'd guess that you'd be OK, but you can always sell the rest, if they don't shoot well for you.

My budget build sps tac stabilized 180 grain RN's over 10.5 grains of Trail boss (sub load).

Best thing to do is load a sample group and go see yourself.

At what yardage was that? I'm assuming that's 180's out of your rifle?

The keyholes were at 25 yards and were 80gr SMK Final Finish bullets fired from my then new Savage 12 VLP in 22-250 and sporting a 1:12" twist.

I posted that to show you what to look for, if things go sideways...literally.

For sure! I had never seen anything like that before! I hope that doesn't look like mine! Lol
