1903 Winchester A5 Build

Hey guys,

Eventually I would like to have a couple of 1903 sniper clones built. One of the rifles I would like to do is the 1903 with the Winchester A5 scope. These scopes don't come up for sale to often and when they do it is still a 100 year old optic and may have a few issues. So is anybody familiar with these reproductions?

It may be the route I go if they are decent quality. I would imagine i am not the first person to think of this, someone has to be running this combo already.

I kind-of want to build one of those two, but keep doing other projects. I recall that the gun writer Mike "Duke" Venturino has used one for years on his 1903 replica sniper

Pretty sure Mr Marty at Badger Ord has a original M1917 sniper with A5 mounted.. hes very knowledgable also maybe try hitting him up.
