THANKS! This frame was titanium and every thing was easy to machine, file and final sand. The customer got this frame dirt cheap because there were a few holes in the casting. They got TIG welded and are good as new.

I've wondered about this. Is there a special mainspring, hammer strut and mainspring cap for bobtails?

Ed Brown did the first bobtail and owns the rights to it. You can get the mainspring housing through them.

I was curious more about the mainspring, hammer strut and mainspring cap, not the housing. It's obviously shorter. Does it use officer model parts?

Yes, the guts come from the Officer's ACP.
