Gunsmithing 1911 Pistol Smiths?

Looking to have a new barrel installed. Don't know any one that does this. Any smiths here do this?

I send my 1911 work to Don Williams of The Action Works. He does outstanding work.

You could try "The Underground Skunkworks" too or closer to you is "Cylinder & Slide".

I recommend Ray Parga (see above post). He did a bunch of great work for me when I was out in Cali.

If I were having a 1911 built I'd call ol Stoney at Bar Sto Precision here in Sturgis.

One of the best kept secrets in that game IMO. His shop is literally across the street from mine now.

Even though his primary business is custom 1911 grips, I think he still does pistolsmithing.

He has been on the American Handgunner Top 100 pistolsmith list of years.

I have used Dave Erickson for two builds and he has a third in line. Great guy to build your 1911.
