I went to decock my 1911, and I couldn't pull the trigger, it feels as if the safety is engaged, or the grip safety isn't engaging. Any idea what the problem could be? At the moment I have it completely disassembled.

Click to expand... My 1911 did the same thing. I found it to be that set screw. Back it out a few turns, see if that fixes it.

When you set the over travel screw insert a magazine with a DUMMY round in the chamber for a more accurate adjustment.
