Bullshit. Taurus 1911s are the worst on the market. Their front strap is so squared that it feels like you're holding onto a 2x4.
They have a nice bundle of features but the fit is absolute shit and the parts are cheap crap.

I never said they are good,or that I would pay for one,
I said they are good enough for their price point, which is exactly the market they were meant to fill, Sure there are no Ed Brown, Wilson Combat, or Cylinder and slide parts in them. At least they don't have proprietary parts and they can be had for under 600 bucks. The Springfield GI's are a better gun in the same price range, but they are missing many of the upgraded parts/sights that most guys think they need.![]()
Personally, I'm sticking to my stable of STI's, 70 series colts, Springfields, Caspian frame and slide customs, and Series 1 Kimbers.![]()
