Well we popped the ol girl’s cherry today! Went out to South bay Rod and Gun and fired 25 rounds through the ol girl. All in all I was pretty happy. Having never fired from an accutrigger I must say I was impressed with the smoothness and break. It's set at the factory setting, which must be around 2 pounds. The recoil is minimized by the break and was really no more then the Tikka 308. I was shooting off of the bipod and a rear bag. I used factory Horandy 250gr ammo. After bore sighting at 50 yards, I fired a round at 100 and was on the bull in two more shots. I then went out to 300. I did not try and zero the scope; I just dialed dope and shot groups in five shots of four. Below are the first and last set. Well under MOA if you discount the flyer in the first group. The trigger caught me off guard with how light it was. From what I have read this rifle is doing slightly better then most. From what I read MOA is average for 300gr bullets for the first hundred or so rounds. Usually with the 250s slightly more then MOA has been the norm for factory rounds until the barrel is seasoned. All in all I am pretty happy. I brought the gun home and tightened all the screws, which were a tad loose. I am going to go out again tomorrow and put another 25 rounds down the pipe. Did I say this bang stick is a BLAST too shoot!! Top pic is the first group of 5 out of 20 3.11 inch, bottom is the last group. Sorry for the crappy cel phone photo!
