One is a short 30-06 bolt face the other is a long with the same bolt face.
Pretty excited, this is the first time I have actually built a rifle from scratch. I have another Nucleus in 300 Win that has a proof barrel and a McMillan A-5. It is really heavy. Too heavy to hunt with.
I have a Huber trigger going in one, and I am not super happy with the Geissle I have in a 700, but I might try it in the 2nd one.
The stock for the short action will be an APO Chassis, and it will have a 6mm BR Benchmark barrel on it. Hopefully I can find a APO adjustable butt stock or they get back in stock at APO.
The long action will get a new 280 Ackley proof barrel, and a Iota Kremlin. I am going to use Magpul AICS bottom metal on it to save weight.
