I got away from bolt guns couple few years ago and have been shooting gas guns exclusively I wanted to play with the .300wm so I now have a 700p on the way.

To keep all of the trigger pulls consistent with my duty and personal rifles, I installed 2 stage Geissele SSAs in all of my rifles. I would like to put a similar pull weight 2 stage in my new 700 but can't seem to find one. It looks like Jewell made one but it is now discontinued.

Any suggestions?

+1 on the CG. I also had the designer custom modify the 1st lever for me. Great service and now I have a one of a kind trigger. It's the closest I've felt to an Anschutz trigger.

I haven't had a chance to try the Huber yet. I also have two TRG guns and those triggers break clean and crisp but they are just a bit heavier on the pull than I like.

Re: 2 stage trigger for 700s

i have had three cg,s 2 were the originals on a surgeon gap build and a 40x 22 and the newest is a tactical model on a badger gap build. i recomend them whenerver somone asks

on a side note i thought i read somwhere the hubers 1st stage wasnt a true first stage in the fact that the sear doesnt fully reengage if let off before firing. they may have changed that but i dont know

also with the cg you can set it almost any way u like

yep found it chiller wrote about it here

I love the Huber I have and will likely use it again. Great 2-stage trigger. Buy once cry once.

I read this old thread and was wondering if the drop fire issue was still there with newer Huber Concepts rifles. I'm thinking about putting one of these on my little brothers rifle later in the year and this would obviously be a serious no-go.

Thanks
