I think he is young, embittered, emboldened and a wannabe SJW. Comes from watching too much CNN, among other things. Further, I believe his whole Modus Operandi was to play cat and mouse, insult, act superior, try to piss off members and make a general nuisance of himself here. I made one comment to him last week, suggesting he'd be happier somewhere else, but never thinking for a minute it would mean anything to him. That's when it became pretty apparent what his program was. I think he could very well be a "member" of one of the numerous anarchist types of groups. In his mind, coming here and trying to be a pain in the ass was a badge of honor to him that he could show off to all his like minded buddies. In that context, I have to LOL when I think of him accusing me and others here of "groupthink"....Too bad, it seems like being a pain to all of those that he disagreed with is the biggest part of his life. Too bad in the sense that life has a lot more to offer, but he probably will never realize that.

Anyway, he was a complete waste of time and glad to see him gone.

Best place to run a plan is from the inside of your enemy's camp, who you are or can become one with. Some have seen this tactic before,... he was/is not the only one here. The 4 left know who and how much they can push w/o drawing too attention all the while picking up Intel on moods, possible reaction given certain provocations. All that info is vital to setting up your next move, while trying to force our side into striking first.

Not to go way off topic.. just curious though sir did you ever get to work with MACV-SOG? Or Army SF? It seems like SOG didn't coordinate with other units/branches too much but I could be wrong. And if you did get to work with em what was your impression? Was Army(conventional forces and others) making as much effective use of snipers as USMC was in your opinion?

I had similar thoughts along those lines. In his case, I don't think he was that sophisticated. I think most of his motivation was in his belief that he could go back to his buddies and tell them that "I'm driving them nuts over on the Hide". He certainly didn't suffer from any lack of narcism and I think his ego played a big part.

Me? I found him boring. Like a record I had heard a thousand times. Yawn. I was in the process of turning the record player off, but the Mods ultimately beat me to it.

Their plan is a good one, he was only the pot stirrer, the others are the issue, He will be replaced promptly so the gathering can go forward. Sacrificial bait is always required in well laid plans, and they know the bait will be outed. What they seek are those who rise to the bait, how long did it take, what was the trigger points ect. It's a fun/interesting/challenging game once it's in play, but it's not a kids game, they are actively searching for trigger points that will push folks over the edge an towards striking first. I want to believe our side will restrain from that but once/if they start, it's going to our turn at bat. Patience is key to most games, an knowing when to strike is key if/when entry into same will/could be a life changing event.

Hmmmm.......All his posts are gone. I'll stick my neck out and speculate that is a result of deletion of his account ?

I'm gonna miss his old posts. Not sure what it is, but I'd like to go back periodically and reminisce over the dustups. Not sure why I feel that way. Probably because his old posts are good reference points for identifying other/newer idiots. There seem to be more and more of them out there these days. I have a short attention span, would quickly forget about them and being able to refer back would come in handy.
