Re: 20" barrel blank??

a good share of the cost of a barrel is the labor and equipment costs, setup time, etc. It would most likely be a PITA for the barrel maker and would be no significant cost saveings. Ask and see what you find out.

I've got a good share of 8" stubs laying around the shop also, but they do make dandy stock for thread caps.

AR type barrels are made shorter, but many are ran at a time in the same setup.

Re: 20" barrel blank??

I two used barrels but will work great for someone who wants to shorter barrel version in 6.5 One is in 1-9 1.160 breech end and the other is 1.150 which would be good for a savage the 1st barrel would finish out nice at 22 inches and the 2nd one at around 25 inches. Let me know if you are interested. Both barrels are kiegers.
