Rifle Scopes 20 M.O.A. Bases

If you use a 20 M.O.A. base will it affect your impact vs point of aim as yardage increases? Do to the scope and the barrel not being parallel will this change as the bullet travels farther away from the weapon?Is there any way to figure this on a chart like a mildot master?I guess I'm asking if the dope changes with a 20 M.O.A vs a flat base.Hope I am making myself clear. I understand why to use these bases I am just wondering if there is a downside.

Also to note with some scopes its not good to turn their adjustment all the way to the stop, with that being said scopes with limited traveling adjustments may harm the erector system, and also some scopes may be more accurate towards the center of their range
