20 mao rail

Hello,
1st post for me, and I have a question.

I have a M40ish clone I been working with since the 90s, We Regularly are shooting man size steel at 600 yards. We are now starting to get out to 1000. So i am updating it a bit with a 20 mao rail.. I am thinking once I re-zero the weapon my DOPE should still be good to go? Thanking you in advance men

Only thing that changes is the zero and the amount of available elevation.
