Rifle Scopes 20 MOA base 100 yd/200 yd variance

OK, this is one for the brainier optic geeks on the board.

Using a ballistics calculator, the data given for a scope height of 2", my POI at 100 yards for a 200 yard zero should be approximately 2 inches high.

Now, with a 20 MOA scope base, will the derived POI change because of the 20 MOA base?

Seems to me that logic would dictate that the POI would have to be lower.

Doing some mental gymnastics I'm thinking my POI at 100 yds. should be about .5 to .75 inches high for a 200 yd. zero.

You'll have to zero the rifle again after changing from a flat base to a 20moa of course, but that's it. The base will have no further bearing on the matter between 100 and 200 yards.
