Does anyone know how much 20 MOA in inches would be if you wanted to incorporate front shim? I know there are bases with 20 MOA but it's not an option. I need to use a shim.
Thanks for you help.

Re: 20 MOA in inches.

I just Miked a Seekins 20 MOA base for a Lawton 7000 SA , in a distance of 5.80" it is .280 at the front and .315 at the back for a total taper of .035 in 5.80". You can do the math from there depending on the total distance you need.

If you're going to use 2 piece bases, be sure to lap your scope rings or you'll torque and mark up your scope pretty bad when you tighten the rings.
