If they haven't prepared for this by now, they really need to give a long hard think to their IT system.
ransomware has been the "In" thing for years now, with high profile attacks on governments and industry all over the world.
I'm fairly sure if our government actually cared we could put a pretty quick stop to the entire thing and have public entertainment showing the criminals getting renditioned before being waterboarded and rubber hosed.
