Man calls in threat on another gamer
Cops end up killing innocent person

Sad all the way around

That was the porch execution of a guy looking out intro spotlights while trying to hear what the fuck was going on in front of his house,,, almost as bad as the Az hotel execution..

Goddam shame.

I remember this when it happened. I often wondered what happened to the guy that did it. Good to see he got some time to think over his fucking dumb ass action

What I'm not getting is why this is still happening. Swatting has been going on for quite sometime now and yet PDs still don't seem to get it and keep responding to it. I myself have been doxxed before, but luckily it was nothing more than pizzas delivered to my house and flowers sent to my wife from a random man. However, I have alerted my local PD on several occasions to disregard any weird over the top calls they get regarding my residence. Obviously they have to take any potential crime seriously, but what else can I do when this shit is happening?!

Remember the good old days of the internet when kids, teens, and adults of all ages could banter with eachother without fear of being fucked with in real life?

I don't bash cops but I do call it like I see it. If they're fucked up I ain't going to bat for 'em, I'll call 'em out. I don't like fucked up HUMANS regardless of their job. No love for blue falcons.

That said, I've got a bit of experience with this, with what SWAT does when they're called to a house. I installed security for years and on two cases I had families not believe the system worked, that the cops wouldn't come. After I left one day, the daughters talked their mom into setting it off. They didn't wanna hear the horn so they armed it and used the DURESS code to disarm it. No alarm, silent signal sent saying they were being held hostage. It's a priority signal akin to a fire alarm --they just dispatch ready for action, they don't call, they don't wanna hear a password.

When they got there, they were waiting for 'em, so in this case, they just threw the family on the ground in the front yard at gunpoint until all was clear. It was funny, they didn't get mad but called very excited to tell me it sure as shit worked! It could have ended up worse though. They were expecting a hostage situation.

Then one time in Memphis, a similar situation happened and they ended up getting the FBI hostage rescue team, not the locals! They'd been in town and training and other stuff I guess (at one point someone stole their van full of weapons and demo, abandoned it with all the shit inside once they realized what they took). Anyway, they didn't fuck around and blew out windows and used assloads of gas grenades on that one. They promised they'd take the alarm more serious next time.

So in cases where cops fuck up or or where they're just murdering scum, that's different. Accidents are different if not negligent. And situations where they get away with the most heinous crimes simply because of a badge doesn't do them or the justice system any favors to the people. But this? Negligence lies with the one that called them. IMO, what counts as a good shot gets elevated on a tactical house clearing exercise where you're expecting resistance. Cop, soldier, if you've carried a rifle and cleared a house you know what I mean. I don't know all the details, but on the surface I'd think the cop probably did what he thought was truly right given his information.

If you consider it, both the cop who fired and the person shot were victims in this.

Still sad, and they need to make sure everyone in the gaming community gets weekly reports on this fucker so they don't forget him anytime soon.

Negligence is also on that cop that had his finger on the trigger without a clear threat in his sights. THat cop should be in jail for manslaughter in the least...

How many hostage situations do we have wher a swat team is actually needed vs a patrol sgt witan ar? Do we really need these jacked up scared little bunny rabbits with their finger on the triggers runnng around killing civilians? Really, how many times do these militarized police do more good vs harm vs regulars beat cops,, do we need these guys?

When I was a kid and we wanted to settle shit we would wrestle for it. Angry wrestling, too. Only rules were no punching or biting, and especially not in the nuts. Sometimes we'd do tag team matches if needed. Bodies got hurt, feelings got hurt, allegiances were dissolved, threats were made, parents were called, so on and so forth. Never stopped any of us from showing up the next day to hang out and do it all over again, all talking mad shit.

Unnecessary as much as swatting. We had a choice to be there or fuck off, nobody was forcing anyone to hang out with anyone else. Anyone could just walk away if the got sick of being the bitch every time. They were Fisher-Price duels, basically. Kept shit from really boiling over. I never hung out with fucking psychos who might go get a gun or some shit. I dropped this one kid on his fucking head and he still hates my guts to this day, but he's a fucking psycho we cold-shouldered quickly.

I cleared rooms with a rifle. I was under the impression we were doing it over there so nobody could do it over here. I’m not trying to bash cops either but will state for the record there is no excuse for them showing up and shooting a unarmed individual on his front porch. There is no need to violate the constitution with no knock raids or red flag gun grabs. I’m trying to leave them days behind me but I will only bend until I can’t bend no more. Cops should be our first line of constitutional protection, not our most regular violator. Dude had no gun, dude answered door, dude had family inside, dude got shot. If cops aren’t held accountable it will get worse until a full on militarized police state exists or a revolution.

20 years?
You do know he will be out in 5 right?

I hope he gets sodomized to the point, he goes to take a shit one day and falls through his own asshole.
Too late! Look at his picture and the action that led to his conviction, that happened years ago and he has been living inside out ever since.
