2019 Scout Sniper Association Raffle

A Hide member won a few years ago...

I remember that. This is a damn nice setup as well, but some of the others they've auctioned, WOW. Incredible gear.

Member #1214 here, took my sweet ass time and didn't join until a couple years ago once they reorganized it, so I don't have a cool two digit member number like Frank does. The SSA does good work in funding assistance for those in need and not a single officer takes a paycheck, so every bit raised goes to doing work for those who need it.

I have an A1 (although in parts going through rebuild right now) and an A5, sure would be nice to add an A3 to the mix. I'll be picking up tickets for sure.

Got my tickets. If you look into these folks they’re seriously one of the best organizations, this is money well spent even when there isn’t a possible win dangling on the other side of the buy.

I look every time I donate and it’s never there yet but I really wish there was merch that indicated just “proud supporter of” or something, I’d rock that hat but I’m not getting within 10 feet of a garment that makes it look like I am pretending to be a scout sniper lol.

Since I first donated a few years ago, thanks to one of Frank’s posts, I am on their email list. I purchased tickets/donated already. I certainly wouldn’t mind winning it, but support them as an organization. I also appreciate and support the companies that pitched in to make this kit available for them.

Wish the Army Sniper Association would get it shit together. I'm a life member of the ASA and I can't find anyone who runs the damn thing. They were at the leupold both this year and didn't really do shit.
The USMCSSA was the same way for a long time, it was only through the members collectively getting together to take action that it went anywhere. Keep pushing the issue and get vocal, and I'm positive our side would be more than happy to assist with organization and action if requested.

I called Art ( the first pres of the ASA) yesterday and left a VM on his phone. Theres something big coming from ASA and the school house this year (cant say yet). but as for events and public out reach..its dead. I've had conversations about joining the USMCSSA each year at SHOT as an organization. We really should combine to become the "National Sniper Association", with 2 branches. Our community should be combining, not separate.

Grabbed my tickets a few weeks ago. It is a win win situation, supporting a great organization, but it would also be nice to win it lol. Good luck everyone!

So, what I hear you saying is, the Marine's would be more than happy to teach the Army how it's properly done, eh? (THAT oughta get some things going...)

Bumping again, ticket sales close tonight at midnight eastern with the draw on "0317 Day" Sunday. Get in for a great cause as well as a chance at owning an absolutely awesome early M40A3 package. Fourteen-ish hours remaining...

What time is the drawing? I picked up some extra tickets in case yours/@Decoy s doesn't win.

Not sure the exact timing of the drawing, only that it's on Sunday. I wish I could be present for it, but I have a regular man job these days.

As for ideas for a winner to donate the rifle back, I'd say hit up the Association leadership to see if you can leave it in their hands to be used at HOG gatherings, so members both old and young can shoot this piece of awesomeness to relive their glory days or revel in how it was done during the worst part of the recent wars.

I already have my own A5 and am gathering back up the scratch to rebuild my A1 from the 6-digit receiver I have, but that's far out on my radar since I've only been back to work for half a year now.

You're the man AJ. I hope you win it and bring it up to visit, we'll get @Bender up from Cheyenne and smoke some p-dogs in the grasslands with it.

I’ll take any Hide winner to my top secret P-dog city. 100-1400yd shots from the same spot. But you will be sworn to secrecy.

Snow's coming off and the little rats will be out of hibernation and breeding like crazy next month! I'm thinking it's time to dust off the MK12 and have a heyday on the bastards together. Just need to "buy more ammo", wish Black Hills had a factory direct outlet over in Rapid to skip shipping and middle-man costs.
