Rifle Scopes 20moa riser for AR EGW vs Weaver

I am in need of a 20 moa riser for my AR10. Its chambered in 6.5 creedmoor.

I am looking at buying the Weaver or EGW riser.

Weaver - 45$
EGW - 100$

I want to see what everyones thoughts are on these two 20 moa risers.

The price is whats stopping me from buying EGW right now. I do like it more cause it has 3 screws unlike the Weaver it only has 2 screws. I like things to be more sturdier if can be.

But if you guys think the weaver is just as good and sturdy i might buy it. I have seen good reviews on both.

Quality and reputation, I'd say EGW > Weaver.

Looking at the design, the 2-point hex/slot of the Weaver seems like a far weaker attachment compared to the 3-point EGW nut that you could use a driver on...the later possibly being easier to remove with the optic like a mount and reinstall for a closer potential return to zero.

Once this riser is mounted it wont be removed. All my scope mounts are one piece scope mounts. All my bolt action rifles all have 20 moa bases on them. So i want one on this ar10 too. So getting it back to zero will not be the problem.

Badger Ordinance makes a great one. 22MOA though. I have one on my AR.

I've always used either PRI or EGW 20 MOA mounts on my AR10s, and the Weaver on AR15s. Never had an issue with either of them in these applications. I would doubt the Weaver would give you problems on an AR10, but just don'e have any experience with one on a large frame AR...

I have the Weaver. It's well made and it's more that stout enough for .308. Mine is torqued to 65 in/lbs and it isn't going anywhere.

I have a pri riser and it is more stream lined than most. No large bolts sticking out the sides. White oak armory also makes 10 moa risers if you don't need as much.
