I could use some info please. I’ve got a tikka with a 22” carbonsix prefit. Running a short barrel wsm cuz i got a good deal. I’ve got retumbo, imr4831, h4350. Shooting 168 Berger vld hunting. Does anybody have experience with any of these powders and where I should save my time with load development...just shot up to 54gr IMR 4831 with no pressure signs. Velocity was 2625 FPS. Seating Berger’s touching lands to help relieve the large amount of brass stretch of hornady brass.

Sounds like at or just above 7-08 speed.
Hogdon manual shows 2921fps with 168 Sierras and Retumbo out of a 24” tube, so I’d look for 2850 or so over the chrony.
Of course, if your just deer hunting and if your current load touches holes, I’d not sweat it too much.

Deer and elk 2000 FPS on both at 400 yds or less would be good...I know I won’t get the full potential of the 7wsm on a 22” barrel but I should be able to get close to 2850. What’s retumbo powder charge?

It’s all right there on Hogdon’s website.
I’d post a link if I knew how on my phone.

Ended up with Fed 215 58.5 grains Imr 4831 168 vld hunting 2850 FPS
15 SD 40 ES sub .5 minute at 100 yds. Brand new Hornady brass with flash holes deburred nothing else. Cant wait to see how SDs are with fully prepped once fired brass and a .002 shoulder bump.

I’m shooting 63.2 grains of H4831sc with Berger 168 grain VLD. I’m getting 2980 FPS out of my 26” barrel. I can push it a lot harder but see no need with the accuracy this load gives me.
