shoot 80 grn Sierra's with 48.5 grns. of Retumbo.
velocity is 3350 fps @ 4700 asl

Let us know how the 22-243 works out. Hopefully it will not eat out the throat. 80 gr @ 3350 fps sounds like good yote medicine. Good luck with it!

even if it is only 1000 rounds per tube, that is a lot of dead yotes !

What do you think of your 75g AMAX 22-250 AI build? What do you think the max range to shoot a yote is? Also, what was your hunting load velocity and barrel life at? I am debating a 22-243 as well but I wasn't sure if it was better then the 22 250 ai. Thanks

That's a fact!!! I am interested in seeing how it performs for you. I know of a few guys that went to the 223 WSSM and were not happy at all... I would imagine that you can get a couple 100 fps more out of it than a swift. Good luck, keep us posted.
