Suppressors .22 can for savage bolt gun

Ok new to suppressor and looking to get one for my .22 savage. I wont to try to get as quiet as possible for a good price. It will only be used on this one rifle. Thanks for any suggestions.

I have an old AAC Pilot which was modified to take apart for cleaning. Shooting standard velocity ammo is very quiet. Ease of cleaning is an important factor as is material it is made out of. The stainless and Titanium models may be more expensive but are supposedly easier to clean. I have had no problems with any of my AAC suppressors and would most likely go with an Element if I was in the market for another. Do not use the "dip" method of cleaning. Lots of info in this thread.

Huntertown Guardian. There is some FRP but it has metered very competitively with the 'gold standard' Silencerco Sparrow.

I've got one and I'm sure there is 'better', but for $200 plus the tax it was a great gateway drug into the NFA world. I think it sounds very good with CCI SV.

FRP Sucks... If your going to spend the money on a stamp get a quality can.
Get a SWR SpectreII or a TBAC 22L-1. I use both on a Savage MKII-TR.

Im like the huntertown I got to here one today and on a savage like mine verry quit and I like the idea its upgradable to better baffles

here is a 5 shot group @ 50yds from a 10/22 kidd lw custom & 2-7x32 bushnell ar22 scope. Shot with a sparrow ss. I'm pretty impressed with the combo

Only a bad or poorly attached one will affect accuracy.
I have a Pilot that I use on a Rem 504 and S&W M&P 15-22 and it's very quiet.
I would do the SWR Spectre or Warlock if given a second chance.
I've yet to pony up for the Pilot jailbreaking and it's louder on my Buckmark then when I bought it.

Got my hands on a can a month ago (will remain nameless) that had a shotgun pattern at 50 yards.

The best thing you can do is test drive a shit load of cans with the same weapon system and decide what best fits your needs.

I just got my Sparrow in last week and I love it. We've ran it on a Ruger mkII, an SR22, a 10-22 and I have a Marlin in 17hmr that is being threaded. I love that thing and it gives multi caliber capability. If you don't need that, Yankee Hill just released a 22 can with a single stack baffle that breaks down just like the Sparrow but isn't rated for anything but 22 and is $100 cheaper than the Sparrow. I have been extremely pleased with YHM products, they make solid gear for reasonable prices. I'd also recommend te Silencer Shop, great CS. Can't say enough about those guys. The Sparrow runs about $370 and the YHM can is around $270.
