So I'm planning on building a 22 Nosler on a Aero precision m4e1 builder set with a 22-26 inch WOA barrel. Just want some of y'all's thoughts? Planning on running the 60 NBT for varmints and 77-80 grain bullets for long range fun and casual local matches.

Looking at Nosler's own load data, it looks like there's not much advantage to the 22 Nosler (over .223) with the 60 gr projectiles, but once you get into the heavier projectiles is when it kinda comes into its own.

So, depending on which type of shooting you're going to be doing more of, regular ol' .223 (or .223 AI) might serve you just as well, without expensive/uncommon brass.

While yes it does. I also think since ill be reloading I'll see better velocity and the 22 Nosler start pulling ahead of the the .223. While I have thought of doing a .223AI I don't want to have to deal with fire forming brass.

The 22 Nolser is supposed to be close behind the 22-250 in terms of performance. But that is something i am interested in finding out. And it will be a equal diet of 77-80 grain stuff and 60 grain.

The .22 Nosler isn't a great buy, large cost increase without the performance to match. Any of the 6.5 Grendel's necked to .223 are a much better choice for what you are doing, like .224AR, .224 Predator, etc. If you really want to Hotrod it grab a .223WSSM from Dtech.
